This Kit Has Been Retired
4S-Link, pronounced "Force Link", is a nifty little interface that connects you to the
digital radio world. With proper software all sound card digital modes can be employed.
The circuit design provides complete isolation between your rig and your computer's
sound card, thereby preventing ground loops (hum) and providing solid, reliable
operation. Drive level to your transceiver is controlled through a front panel potentiometer.
Attaching the 4S-Link to your computer is as easy as plugging into your sound card.
A serial port or adapter is not required. The connections are clearly
silk screened on the exterior of the enclosure, so there is no guessing which cable goes where.
A major feature is compatibility with Smart Phones, Tablets, and other devices that
can run a digital mode app. All that's neccessary is for you to make the proper
connections to your device's audio jacks. The 4S-Link has been designed to accept
the output of those devices.
Two NMØS trademarks are obvious: innovation, and an attractive, rugged copper clad board enclosure with black solder mask and white silk screened
labels. It's easy to assemble and looks great. There is no need to purchase a separate enclosure, see the photo page for details..
All parts are included, jacks, knobs, enclosure, transformers, everything. This is a complete kit.
