Things to bring.............
- Sunblock lotion
- Skeeter spray, long pants and shirts if bugs bother you
- Tent, tent stakes and hammer
- Air mat, sleeping bag or sheets and Pillow
- Battery powered fan if its warm at night
- Lantern, flashlight or cap/headband light
- Towel, soap, other assorted personal items such as med's and pain killers
- Chair, sunshade/umbrella, rain gear
- Ear plugs if you are camped by "nocturnals"
or an active road or rail line.
- Ice chest with water or your favorite beverages
- Food, and cooking/eating hardware such as grill, charcoal, lighter
and tongs, plates and knives/forks, condiments, salt/pepper.
Radio stuff.............
- Radio, antennas, antenna matcher, swr meter, antenna supports and rope
- key, keyer, microphone, cables of all sorts to interconnect all of the above
- Folding table and chair for operating station
- Light for your operating station if you plan to be on the air in the evening
- A fan if the weather is uncomfortable thru the afternoon
Power source.............
- battery, battery charger system
- VOM meter and tools to repair cables and co-ax and add connectors
- Extension cord and power strip
