Foy KCØOCK made this handy portable battery box for field operating.

The batteries can be switched to  power the rig or to be charged from a 12 volt source.

The round magnetic loop antenna was built by Joe, WØMQY and works 30 through 10 meters.

Joe's loop is remotely tuned using a motorized reversible DC motor.

A close-up view of Rex KC5UVN's loop antenna feed system.

The top of Rex 's loop has the tuning capacitor enclosed in a box with a vernier dial.

A pair of VE3DNL marker oscillators.  Dave, WØCH made the one on the left and Gene NØMQ built the one on the right.

This Warbler 80 meter PSK-31 transceiver was built by Dick, NØTGR.   An Ozark 80 transceiver is in the Altoids tin to the upper right.

The innards of Tom N2UHC's Small Wonder 40+ CW transceiver.  The enclosure came from a radio controlled  overhead crane receiver.

Tom N2UHC built this Small Wonder 20+ transceiver in a CB radio case.

Dave, WØCH's scratch built 40 meter CW transceiver.  It includes a built-in TiCK keyer.

Charlie Tuna's scratch built 40 meter "Tuna Can One" transmitter.  This is the tiny 3 ounce can.

Rex KC5UVN's scratch built average and peak reading power meter.

A scratch built 40 meter transceiver with DC receiver and crystal transmitter built by Larry, NØBHU.  The Warbler (upper left) was built by Joe WØMQY and Gene, NØMQ's Rock-Mite is partially visible on the left.

A homebuilt antenna tuner by Larry, NØBHU.  The SW40+ in the upper left corner was built by Larry, ABØAH.

A homebrew CW filter built by Rex, KC5UVN.

A nice looking OHR Explorer II transceiver built by Dick NØTGR.

Lunch time.  The Redings Mill Inn serves a pretty good meal at a very reasonable price.
