If you wish to Protect the Template, WAØITP

K3PEG's suggests using clear acrylic spray paint. One of the most commonly available brand names is Krylon®, and I found a can of it at our largest discount department store. Any of the less espensive brands will work well also.

It is found in the paint section and the can I purchased is Krylon Crystal Clear Acrylic. It dries quickly and works perfectly in this application, and sells for a coupla bucks.

I applied two light coats on each side of the template allowing about 2 minutes drying time in between coats. The coats should be lightly fogged on by holding the can about 2 feet from the template and swooshing it around a little while spraying for about 5 seconds.

It should be noted that it isn't necesary to protect the template to use the EM method. It just seemed like the thing to do.
